    Hey Stephenie.

  4. Valentina says:

    Hi Stephenie,
while reading your books I was fascinated by the whole Volturi clan: such legendary characters might tell tons of stories from the old world: have you ever thought about making a sort of spin-off about them? whether it is a book, or a tv-series……….or even a musical?

  5. Sofabedtry says:

So, Stephenie, after Twilight: Are you team Edward, team Jacob or team Switzerland?

I really want to know! I mean, I’m guessing (from Breaking Dawn) that she’s team Edward. But if she’d been reading the Twilight series instead of writing it, I wonder if her opinion would have been different. I’m ambivolent. Unless we count Emmett. He would make the best big brother!
    Thanks for the amazing oppurtunity,
    Rebecca.

Hello Stephenie Meyer, I would just like to reiterate what you’ve already heard so many times over, but, thank you. You’ve caught my attention by surprise, and I haven’t been this interested in “any” books/movies success in all of my life. I have many more than two questions for you, as well as comments, so I do hope that I ask the correct ones. ;0)

#1. – This is a love story between a girl and a vampire, an obsessive, consuming love to be worthy of “forever”, but the books seem to concentrate more on Bella and Jacob, even giving Jacob a few chapters of internal thinking, and narrative from his perspective, going into so much of Jacob and the wolves, with Edward as the outside third wheel. He and the Cullens did not get the depth that Jacob and the tribe received, but they are what draw readers to the story, wanting to know more about Edward and ALL of the Cullens. With the ending of the last book, there seems to be potential for continuing stories for Jacob and Nessie and the wolves, but I want to know more of the Cullens and Edward. Was this done intentionally and will there be anymore works on the Cullens or on Edward from their perspectives as in depth as Bella and Jacob?

#2. – (movie) – Since “Twilight” and the sequel movies, and books to follow, are the first in the what could be an even greater profit and success because of how “fans related and solidified with the characters in your stories”, establishing the base relationship for the Bella/Edward relationship, how they meet, how they bonded, built their relationship over time together, and interactions with one another, as well as build all of the characters involved, is there anyway that you would be able to persuade them to re-make, edit and add the parts to “Twilight” (PLEASE!!), that were so critical in making what is Bella and Edward, actually have Edward actively involved, as in the book, as well as the other characters, like Mike’s comment to Bella after Edward ran out of the class when he smelled her, or the blood humor in science, or the real scene when Edward is in the car watching her as she is in the truck behind him, when she is asked out to the prom and the humor within that interaction, as well as all of the other “little things” that made “Twilight” such a “big” thing, This will establish the ground work for a complete story that could be built upon very well, as well as satisfy your fans, and fans of the movie. Do you think they would negotiate with you this editing for “Twilight”, as well as let you be apart of it, and give the healthy suggestions for the correct way to interpret what you’ve written to stay true to the “real” Twilight. it’s story, and it’s beginnings? (Please try if you can. It would mean so much to many. Your audience age range is not just teens. It’s teens, 20′s, 30′s and up that fell in love with story you’ve created for all to partake in, for as long as possible.)

I do apologize for running on and on, but these are the main two, since I am limited, and I so hopefully wish you will answer and seriously consider. Congratulations on your success regardless, and again, thank you.

    Best Wishes,
    Jessica

  12. Selina_Twilight says:

Did the movie live up to your expectations of the book?

  13. kristaxangel says:

    Hello Stephenie!
Throughout the Twilight Series you made several references to other works of literature, including Wuthering Heights, and Romeo and Juliet. Would you consider Edward more of a Heathcliff or a Romeo, and would you consider Bella a Catherine or a Juliet? Would you say these books you referenced were used as inspiration for writing?

    Thank you!

  14. ysr1973 says:

    Hi Stephenie

We’re all very excited that New Moon has been confirmed and filming starts next year. However, what are you feelings about the suggestions that they may not film it from Bella’s perspective and add more of Edward throughout the film, thus slightly taking away the climax of his re-emergence in Italy? Do you think it will change the general feel of the story?

    Thanks very much!

    Yvette

Hey stephanie with the completion of twilight and the awesome out come of it do you think you will complete midnight sun since your other books were such a big hit and soon the other movies.

  16. NYCbabe22 says:

  17. .Patrycja. says:

    HI ;]
If you could add any scene or any detail to the movie, what would it be?
Or is the film perfect (there’s everything you wanted to be in)?

  18. Sofabedtry says:

Whilst reading Twilight again yesterday, I was suddenly wondering, Did Bella have a car before she came to Forks? She notes that it was not uncommon to see a new Mercades or Porsche in her old school, but she doesn’t actually say whether she had a car or not. A really random question I know, but I really am curious as to what her choices may have been if Charlie hadn’t bought her the truck. =]
    Thanks,
    Rebecca.

  19. Reagan Gore says:

I loved the books, and loved Breaking dawn. I was wondering, the way you left some stuff in Breaking dawn. Is there any chance that was because you have future plans to write about Jacob, Renesmee, and Nahuel?

  20. pandapolar says:

I know that you initially were inspired to start the book because of your dream. How then were you inspired to create the subplots and character development throughout the series?

  21. BCferrari says:

Do you fancy visiting your setting for New Moon, Volterra and do you think you will if filming gets there?

  22. twihard1901 says:

Hi Stephenie! Thank you so much for writing this amazing series! I have never read books that I can really get into and read for hours except for yours! I was wondering if you plan to continue the story through someone else’s point of view or if you’re planning to write any more books with these characters.

  23. Reality says:

    Hey Stephanie,
I was wondering, did you go into this intending on writing a series of books, or was it that you just couldn’t stop after the first one?

(and trust me, NO ONE is complaining about that. =D )

  24. AmyHutch says:

    Hello Stephenie.

I enjoyed reading every one of your books, so much that I couldn’t put them down.

I have a question for you though.
Is it true that after a friend had told you to publish Twilight, you never thought of it as becoming a number one best seller, and instead expected it to merely pay off your mini van?
    *Chuckles*

    Thank you.

    Hey Stephenie!

My question is about ‘New Moon’. Towards the end of New Moon, we are introduced to Gianna the receptionist. My question is : What will the volturi do with her once she has served her purpose? Make her a vampire or kill her? If she becomes a vampire will she go out with Felix?

  26. chastity1977 says:

Stephenie, I need to know–Whose idea was it for you to pull a ‘Stephen King’ and appear (only briefly) in the movie? I thought it was brilliant! Can’t wait to see you in the sequels!

  27. gemma_x_cooper says:

    Hey Stephenie!

My question is about Victoria. At the end of Twilight, after they have disposed of Edward – Where is Victoria? How does she find out James is dead?

    Thanks! Gemma xo

  28. Vengeance_6661 says:

    Hi Stephenie,
Did you ever expect the book ‘Twilight’ to become so popular worldwide? And what inspired you to write a novel such as ‘Twilight’ as the whole vampire, human and werewolf combination was obviously a hit.
    Thank You
    Preet – xo

  29. dances-with-vampires says:

Stephenie, I was wondering if there was anything that was left out of the movie that you would like to add?

I, myself, was rather upset that the word dazzle was not mentioned at all.

Were you happy with the way it turned out? Is there anything you think should have been in it, or shouldn’t have been in it?

    Thanks, Misha :]

  30. hyperkristina says:

Hey, my question is about the book and the film. I know making a film of a book will never be exactly the same, because you can’t put everything in the film. But, do you feel everything that could possible go into the film was pursued? I don’t think it was. I absolutely love the books, all four of them, I couldn’t think of a bad word to say about them. But I feel the film didn’t do your book justice, e.g. the meadow scene. This scene is, I would say, the most important part of the book because it’s where Edward is most truthful to Bella and in so many words admits his love for her, and vice versa. And, although it’s in the film, it’s not as good as you wrote it. (it’s not as good as it could have been). The majority of the scene actually happens in the forest not the meadow and they don’t talk as much as they do in the book. Do you think this scene (the most famous part of the book ‘Twilight’) was as good as it could have been in the film?
The meadow is just one example of a scene in the film i feel wasn’t as good as the book.
My final question is about Edward Cullen being played by Robert Pattinson. I feel he did a great job. But there were parts of the film where he didn’t play Edward as ‘dazzling’ and ‘charming’ as he is in the book, for example when he wants to change his lessons so he won’t be tempted to kill Bella. When she walks in the reception when he’s there; in the book he ends the conversation with the receptionist extremely politely and he’s described almost still charming. But in the film he is mean. There’s no other word for it. In fact through out the film the way he plays Edward is nothing like his characters personality in the book. Is Edwards personality in the film how you pictured him in the making of the books? Or was he not that unpleasant, but a lot more pleasant?
    Thank you, Kristina xx
