MTV Movies Blog has an article about the good and bad with the release date of ‘Eclipse’. Okay, Twilighters, here’s the good news: You’ve made it to prime time. The release date is in late June, prime tentpole territory typically reserved for the likes of Will Smith, superheroes and hundred-million-dollar Michael Bay movies. No more of these November, let’s-hope-we-catch-the-teens-while-they’re-home-for-the-holidays...

Summit confirmed Friday night, that it has set a release date for ‘Eclipse’. This is what Box Office Mojo had to say about why Summit chose June, instead of November to premiere Eclipse: The pre-Thanksgiving weekend of 2010 was already staked out by a much larger franchise, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (Part One), which effectively meant that Summit would have to wait until 2011 or two... 

Regent Releasing announced last night, that Little Ashes will now open in theaters on May 8th. So what lead to the move?   The timing issue came with the success of Departures, an Oscar-nominated film being released by Regent Releasing, the same company handling Little Ashes. “They want to give Departures the attention and budget it deserves,” says the source. “And then move onto Ashes.” Read...

Anna Lynne McCord says to OK! Magazine that due to her current schedule that she will most likely not be in New Moon: AnnaLynne McCord, who was slated to play the receptionist to the Volturi vampires in Rome, Heidi, tells OK! she’s no longer going to be in that role. “I am so disappointed but it doesn’t look like it is going to happen with my schedule,” she revealed to OK! at the L.A. premiere...
