The HD Room is reporting that ‘Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince‘ advance ticket sales should surpass those of ‘Twilight‘.

With a little less than two days until the first midnight showings on July 15, over 1000 showings have sold out. At its current pace, Potter should surpass advanced sales for Twilight and may even threaten Iron Man and The Dark Knight with a last hour surge.

Harry Potter might be challenged by The Twilight Saga: New Moon later this year but for now it is the time for wizards to work their magic.
