ET Online has posted a report that the FX channel has secured the rights to the saga.
After the movies’ televised screenings on pay cable channel Showtime, the films will rise on the ad-supported FX. FX will premiere ‘Twilight’ on their network in late 2011, followed by ‘The Twilight Saga: New Moon’ in late 2012, says The Hollywood Reporter. The third installment in the franchise, ‘Eclipse,’ whose theatrical release is June 30, will make its FX debut in early 2013. The fourth and final story in the series, ‘Breaking Down,’ is waiting to receive the green-light to start production.
