The Fan Sites have decided to send a THANK YOU to Summit,
the cast, and crew of Twilight and to Stephenie Meyer by
having "Twilighters Back to the Box Office". All we are
asking is that people go see Twilight on December 12th
in honor of the original release date of the movie. The
idea originated at Twilight Moms, and they have decided
to share! The goal is to get all the fans out to see
Twilight again on the same day and give the movie a bit
of a bump. Let's make sure that they get the message
loud and clear! Pass the word on to anyone and everyone!

Deadline Hollywood reports that Golden Compass director Chris Weitz has been offered the big job of directing New Moon. He is reportedly still considering the offer.

The Chicago Sun-Times has an article on Rob and Kristen’s reaction to Catherine not directing the sequels.
‘They are both very upset,” a good Hollywood source told me Monday. ”They are committed to doing at least the next ‘Twilight’ film — and probably the one after that — but they really wanted to do them with Catherine.”
“Stewart in particular, is furious about it, reportedly telling a close associate, ”I sure hope they don’t f— it up,” referring to the “New Moon” movie.”

Have you ever had a situation where fans sent you something kind of crazy or very extreme?
I got sent a lot of different books on Scientology by a Scientologist fan. It’s quite funny actually, almost the whole series on Dianetics. She wanted me to be a Scientologist. But I mean it must have cost quite a lot with all the packaging. And I got sent this really well-bound book with all these Unibomber-type notes. I thought that was incredible.

The crappy times will show what you’re made of. “Well, you can always do what the O.C. kids did and hate your work,” says Gigandet. “When I was on that show, they all just wanted to go on and do bigger things. I imagine that’s hard. You can be as frustrated as you want, but you still have to show up for work. People don’t want to hear about it if you’re frustrated with your big career break. You still have to have a sense of gratitude and professionalism no matter what you do. I’ve been mad at everyone and everything at times. Deal with it at home.”
