At work today we got the release date for the twilight DVD .
March 21st 2009 we just got it today on our reserve list… I’m really excited… now if you go to your local FYE store or Suncoast there is a release date so reserve it, there’s a Regular Edition, Special Edition and Blu-Ray.

Summit Entertainment, through HollywoodChicago.com, has released the list of information for all of their 2009 movie releases, most importantly New Moon movie:
“New Moon” Release date: November 20, 2009 Cast:Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson Directed by: Chris Weitz Written by: Melissa Rosenberg Synopsis: Bella Swan is devastated by the abrupt departure of her vampire love, Edward Cullen but her spirit is rekindled by her growing friendship with the irresistible Jacob Black. Suddenly she finds herself drawn into the world of the werewolves, ancestral enemies of the vampires, and finds her loyalties tested.
Rumors have been flooding the internet on who will be the new cast members in New Moon movie. For the role of Leah Clearwater two particular names have stood out: Vanessa Hudgens and Brenda Song.
I think this is highly unlikely since they are both too short for the role - both measuring 5′ 2″ or 1.57 m - and with the whole Taylor Lautner is too short thing.

But he is dreading preparing to shoot the new venture - because wearing his character’s topaz coloured contacts is such a painful ordeal.
He tells Britain’s Ok! magazine, “Wearing coloured contact lenses… It was like I constantly had sand in my eyes. I was wearing them for three months constantly and my eyes never ever accepted them! It took me 20 minutes per eye every single day and I ended up having to literally fold it into my eyeball.”
“It’s strange. I’ve even had people wanting to pay for autographs, which is crazy. You keep thinking you should do a little dance for them as well or something.”
Although he now lives in LA, Robert remains down to earth, saying matter-of-factly… “I can’t see any advantage to fame,” he says. “I’m happy with the life I have now. I’ve got the same two friends I’ve had since I was 12, and I can’t see that changing.

No surprise to tween girls or their parents, the best-selling book was “Breaking Dawn,” also known as the fourth book in Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight saga.
AND the New York Times has an article with interesting Amazon facts including:

I don’t know if you have noticed but on IMDb’s New Moon page, Taylor Lautner is listed as playing Jacob Black. This in no way confirms anything, just an interesting fact. Several of the other cast members are listed also. See the page here.
